Our council is named after the parish’s namesake, St. Alphonsus. We were formed in October 2010, and spearheaded by then Pastor, Fr. James Hurlbert.  The St. Alphonsus Council has a strong group of motivated Knights from all ages and walks of life, with our numbers now 100 strong and growing. Our council’s main goals are: to rally the Catholic men in our community to a common and noble cause, to assist and defend our church, to serve our community, to encourage growth in faith and prayer in ourselves and in our friends and families, to become better men and fathers, and finally to meet like-minded men that share our same values and belief that you can be a man of the world while still having Christ at the center of your life.

We are always looking for new members, and would welcome the practicing Catholic men of the parish and surrounding community to join our ranks. Our closed general meetings are held in the Athenaeum basement on the second Thursday of every month at 7:30 PM. There is usually a social following our meetings, which is open to all prospective members.  To find out more information about the Knights of Columbus at St. Alphonsus, or to apply for membership, feel free to contact our Grand Knight, Paul Gillespie (pgillespie15158@gmail.com).
